Why our quoted prices rarely change
Our pricing starts with a simple philosophy: customers take care of us by choosing our company, trusting us in their homes, referring friends and family, leaving reviews, and calling us again over the years. In return, we believe in taking care of them even more.
That is why we do not operate on an upsell-based business model. Our technicians are not paid commissions to increase an invoice, sell unnecessary treatments, or turn a quoted price into a larger bill after arriving at your home. We do not price carpet cleaning by square footage, count every stair or ordinary spot as another charge, or use normal pet spots and routine pet treatment as an excuse to increase the bill.
We also routinely take care of reasonable additional work while we are already there instead of nickel-and-diming customers. Normal spotting, ordinary stairs, routine pet concerns, and the reasonable work involved in professionally cleaning your carpet are part of taking care of the job—not opportunities to inflate an invoice.
One of the biggest reasons it is incredibly rare for us to change a quoted price is that we ask questions before the appointment. We work to understand the size of the home, the areas being cleaned, carpet condition, pet concerns, upholstery, and the overall scope before we arrive. That lets us give customers a realistic price from the beginning.
A price should only change when the actual scope of work is substantially different from what was originally described—for example, severe contamination, substantially more carpet or upholstery than quoted, specialized remediation, unexpected repair materials, or another genuine change in the work required. When that happens, we explain the difference and the pricing before proceeding.
There is an important difference between an upsell and a legitimate scope change. An upsell is an attempt to add services simply to increase an invoice. A legitimate scope change means the work actually required is materially different from the work originally described and quoted. We do not build our business around upsells; we build it around long-term customers who trust us enough to call us again.
You take care of us, and we take care of you even more. That is not advertising filler—it is the philosophy behind how we quote work, honor our prices, and treat every customer.
